Give your indoor plants the best foundation with a blend designed for nutrition, water retention, and aeration. Our living houseplant mix combines natural ingredients and beneficial microbes to create ideal soil conditions so your plant babies can thrive. Use it for potting up a wide range of houseplants that appreciate good drainage or for general indoor growing.

Worm castings supply beneficial soil microorganisms, stimulate plant growth, and promote disease resistance. Organic and regionally sourced nutrients provide long-lasting fertility that feeds plants and soil microbes for months. Mycorrhizae form a symbiosis with plant roots, increasing moisture and nutrient uptake. Peat moss and compost offer exceptional moisture and nutrient holding, while pine bark, rice hulls, and perlite create airflow and drainage to reduce fungal and algae issues.

Soil Mix Ingredients:
Peat moss, pine bark, composted wood fines, perlite, vermiculite, rice hulls, worm castings, feather meal, blood meal, soft rock phosphate, potassium sulfate, AZOMITE®, and mycorrhizae.

A 15-quart bag fills:
• four 50-cell trays
• fifteen to sixteen 1-quart pots
• thirty-two 4” pots
• three to four 1-gallon pots

If your plants have special drainage requirements, simply amend our mix for best results:

Succulents and Cacti:
Add extra perlite or rice hulls to improve drainage and reduce water retention. Use a 2:1 ratio of houseplant mix to coarse sand or perlite.
